Josefina Posch is an artist that works in the expanded field of sculpture. She works internationally and has exhibited with the Doulun Museum of Modern Art Shanghai – ddm warehouse, Zendai MoMA Shanghai, Center for Contemporary Art – Tbilisi, Georgia, Havanna Museum of Modern Art, Cuba, Furtherfield Gallery London, Scope Art Fair Miami, Göteborgs Konsthall – Center for Contemporary Art, Röda Sten Art Center, Göteborg, Konstepidemin Göteborg, Galleri 54, Göteborg, Galleri Pictura, Lund Sweden, Rosa De la Cruz exhibition space -The Moore Space in Miami and for the Migration Addicts collateral event at the 52nd Venice Biennale she created an 8 meter inflated rubber iceberg. Posch has participated in several artist- residencies in Shanghai, N.Y., Italy and the UK.  She has received grants from such varying places as; The Swedish Arts Grant Committee, Göteborg City Arts Council,  Nordic Ministry of Culture Project Grant, Step-Beyond European Cultural Foundation, IASPIS International Collaboration Grant, Exhibition Grant, Skane Art Association, Otto and Charlotte Mannheimers Fond stipend, Foundation for Contemporary Arts, NY, Grant (Jasper Johns/John Cage Founders), Artist Access Grant, Miami, Artist Enhancement Grant, Division of Cultural Affairs Miami, Leo Chestler Contemporary Art Award, Miami.

In 2010 Josefina Posch founded ‘Snowball Cultural Productions’ that aims to match artists with exhibition venues and her first project was the Swedish-Finnish tour of the artist group Guerrilla Girls that she organised in collaboration with Kira Sjöberg, Art Short Cut. As board member of Gallery Box in Gothenburg she co-curated the Kåt A4 exhibition that amongs 40 other included artists Spencer Tunick, Eva & Adele, Michael Portnoy and Shi Yong. The exhibition was publicised in its entity in the Swedish art magazine ‘Paletten’. Posch curated the Video program for Storsjöyran festival in Östersund that in addition to local Swedish artists included Jordan Baseman, Richard Phillips and Brice Dellsperger. Part of Gallery Box she was the curator for the ‘Time Capsule’ exhibition of Chinese artist Lu Pingyuan in Gothenburg and on the board of the IASPIS-International Artist Studio Program In Sweden, Gothenburg chapter. In collaboration with Karen Diamond of Gothenburg Art Museum she organized the visit and lecture by Chinese artists Hu Yun, Lu Pingyuan and curator Biljana Ciric based upon Ciric´s project for the Manchester Asia Triennale. Posch oragnised and produced together with Leslie Johnson the Wato Tsereteli curated nordic art / Between Miracles exhibition at the Center for Contemporary Art – Tbilsis, Georgia. Currently she is developing the internordic network sculptureHUB.
